Seth Conley

Seth Conley | Birds on a Wire | Oil on panel | 48

Seth has worked as a professional artist since 1998. His work,
primarily oil, is a somewhat whimsical interpretation of the human
condition. Inspired by German Expressionists, Fauvism, Cubism
and Surrealism, Seth reflects his love for traditional art while pushing
the boundaries with a nontraditional edge. Seth's work is constantly
evolving while maintaining consistency with his unique sense of form,
line and color

ARTIST STATEMENT

My work is more of a "self impression" than "self portraits." I enjoy
working with a wide range of zymology to express myself. I want
to depict segments of my life which seem common yet are powerful
cross sections of humanity.
