Frank Milo

Frank Milo wants people to see his works in depth, with layers upon layers coming to life. Thusly, his vibrant canvases are sealed with layers upon layers of varnish, preserving but transmitting the emotions that he felt when he was at play with the work. The thick varnish works to bring an unequal transparency that brings one back from the very first layer to the very last layer of the process of the artist’s emotions. He plays with reflection, his own, the painting’s, and that of the viewer.
